T-Town Kids

T-Town kids will give your child a healthy body. Remember that when your child is healthy, he or she will have more muscle mass, less body fat, improved sleep, and a faster metabolism. You as a parent will know that you have done a huge part in changing your child's habits. This can only happen when you have a program that best fits your child’s needs. Friday Nights @ 5:30pm and Sundays @ 1:30pm

Build Strong Children

The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places.

Ernest Hemingway

It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.

1 Mile Octoberfest Run

The Octoberfest Run kicks off our celebration and will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at 8am. Students, 1st-8th grade, staff, faculty and parents are invited to take part in a one mile fun run up and down Yorktown.  ECLC students and those students not running participate by cheering on their fellow classmates.  All students are encouraged to wear their Octoberfest t-shirts on the day of the run to show their school spirit.  The run is concluded by a short ceremony honoring the runners’ accomplishment and participation.  Parents are welcome to attend and/or participate in the run with their child.

Teaching Kids @ a Young Age

With increasing tendency of obesity in children, exercise has become more important. Children love to eat fast food which is not good. It becomes the duty of the parents to ensure that the child indulges in outdoor activity and does not remain glued to the TV or computer. Parents can set an example for the children by maintaining an active lifestyle.

T-Town Kids

T-Town Kids Class begins July 13th

CrossFit T-Town is so excited to add T-Town Kids to our schedule.
This class lays the foundation for all future movements that our young athletes will encounter, whether it be sport-specific or fitness related. Children learn body awareness, coordination, and the fundamentals of gymnastics and strength training including forward/backward rolls, headstands, squatting, push-ups, and sit-ups. A sense of personal accomplishment is encouraged, as well as positive group interaction.
This class will be for children ages 4-13 and will be tailored to all levels. T-Town Members will be able to attend the kids class for free for the month of July as a trial period.
Please email info@crossfitttown.com if you are interested in signing your kids up for this new class.
