Internal Judging

Watching an athlete miss a rep is hard. Most people have no intention, but it happens. When a judge fails to judge correctly and keeps counting reps that should not count. Is it the athlete's fault anymore? By the reps being counted the judge is confirming the rep was good. Worst is when the athlete is missing reps, the judge is failing you, and your whole gym is there watching you do reps that should not count. No one from that gym tries to hold their athlete to the standards of the movement. So what if the judge is counting the bad reps. Your athlete is a reflection of your gym. Honesty is so important during a competition worth lots of $$$$$$$. I've seen athletes take away their own reps that their judges counted when they know it was not good. Next Generation CrossFit has some strict standards and we live by them.
