The adventure race was a blast. We finished in 4 hours for Team SmithFit. We hit 18 checkpoints, we ran over 9 miles up and down the terrain of Turkey Mountain. We also biked over 12 miles all over the same area. Right from the start Shaun had to get into a pool to hit the 1st checkpoint. After Running 4 miles and finding 5 checkpoints we shot marbles through a sling shot at a small target 30' away. We had 5 shots because we hit 5 checkpoints, I hit the target twice. Before getting on the bike, we had to complete a zip line. We biked for 12 miles hitting more checkpoints. Then we ran another 5 miles finding more checkpoints to finish the race. Another fun and challenging test of strength and endurance.
