The 2012 Olympics in London will be July 27 - August 12, covered by NBC. I LOVE watching the Olympics--ALL of the events! I've been watching the trials and it has been awesome. There are 2,000 swimmers fighting for about 50 slots on the U.S. Olympic team. Nobody—not even Michael Phelps—gets a free pass, meaning that a bad swim could foil four years of hope, hard work and planning.
