Winter Training in the Mountains
Telluride is one of my favoriate places on this earth. Telluride Ski Resort is a ski resort located in Mountain Village, Colorado right next to Telluride. The mountain itself covers the face facing the town of Telluride as well as goes over onto the other side(Prospect Bowl). Telluride has a total of 120 runs and 2,000+ acres (810+ hectacres) of skiable terrain. 23% of Telluride's runs are ranked at Beginner, 36% Intermediate and 41% Advanced / Expert. Telluride on average receives 309 inches (789 cm) of snow each winter season. [5] All lifts on the mountain close at 4:00 PM, while those on the upper areas of the mountain close earlier so to make sure skiers are gradually making their way down the mountain in time for closing.
