"More doesn't always mean better"

It’s hard to change. Really hard. Before CrossFit, I went to St. John's Health Club five days a week, sometimes six. Free weights, cardio equipment, leg presses, and even some machines. Leg days, tri/bi days, chest and back days. I felt great and really thought I was getting somewhere. Then I found Next Generation CrossFit. I tried "Cindy" As Many Rounds As Possible in 20min of 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, and 15 squats. I got 18 rounds. It seemed like it had lasted for hours — and I was wrecked for the next day. See, what it took me so long to realize was this "more doesn't always mean better." We think that more time in the gym means that we’re achieving more. Open your mind and don’t be content to just do what everybody else does. My workouts with warm-up, lifting, WOD, and stretching only last one hour. I take less time now, then I did at St. John's.
