Not one person made it to the top. Lightning storms on both sides of the Teton Range on our summit day made it too dangerous to proceed. Exum Guides made the right decision by sending us down the mountain, rather than up. The Grand will be around for a long time and other summit attempts. This was my second time to the Tetons, I made the summit last time. We had two great climbing/training days and made memories that will last a lifetime. And, we raised more than 80,000 dollars for Nature Exchange at our Tulsa Zoo!
