Forearm Stand

How-to: From your hands and knees, lower your forearms to the ground, elbows under your shoulders, hands straight forward from your elbows. Tuck your toes and lift your hips up high. With your hip slightly open, lift one leg in the air, rolling your weight forward off your grounded foot. Then bring both legs together up in the air.

What is SmithFit?

Yoga balanced with fuctional training and running. It's a method of strengthening-stretching-breathing that enables the athlete to perform the workout more proficiently with less injury. It's a good idea to attend local yoga classes 1-3 times per week. If not 5-20 minutes can be a reasonable time spent stretching and working on lengthening the breath. Just trying to help athletes to stretch more. Watch videos below to learn different stretches.

Handstands

-Make sure your arms are fully extended at the top position.
-Balance the weight on the finger tips and wrist.
-Make sure you have your chin almost touching the chest.
-Keeping your stomach squeezed along with your glutes, quads, and toes pointing to the sky.
