GORUCK Challenge Honors Those Who Were Killed
This is the article on the Oklahoma City National Memorial Full Story Here:
GORUCK Challenge Class 050 began and ended its journey at the Oklahoma City National Memorial’s Survivor Tree, having carried a 20 pound piece of granite from the Murrah Building throughout the challenge events. Inspired by the most elite training offered to Special Forces soldiers and led by Green Berets, the GORUCK Challenge is a 12-hour team event, held in cities around the world. The majority of participants have no military experience, and over 98% complete the challenge. Class members were impacted by Oklahoma City’s response to the bombing, and the importance of coming together to overcome difficulties. Participants were given a small piece of granite and a Memorial pin as a symbol of hope and resilience.
